I just fished the area west of highway 6 this weekend.

I caught a few trout here and there but the flow rates are pretty low and the water is super clear. I couldn't get anywhere near the water to toss a fly and the fish would be scattering. With all the trees around the water it made tough fishing even tougher. It was fun trying to get the spots figured out and get your dry fly into the run without get hung up or getting to close and when you did finally get one to hit the surface it made it all worth while.

Best part was I didn't see another fisherman in the area at all. I did the shell waterton loop 2 days in a row.
