Default My Fault it Is Snowing in Edmonton

Took the winter tires off my Wife's Jeep yesterday, so sure enough, snowing today. Really hope we actually get a bunch of rain, there are still fires burning from last year because we didn't get enough snow to smoother them.

I took off my winter tires Monday, and washed and polished the truck, so this was expected.

Some people would complain if they died and went to heaven.

Ha, it usually gets me the same. I thought about switching too, then said lets wait a couple weeks. Not that summer tires cant handle this bit of snow but it don't hurt the winters to run a little longer.

The Coopers that I run in summer are actually snowflake rated, but my Continental winters are studded, so I take them off when the ice is all gone, to reduce wear on the studs.

My fault it's snowing in GP, I've got a 2 pm appointment to rotate summers on. Now I have to roll them in snow from shed to driveway.

Oh well.

For sure with studs. I did a test with my last set of winters. They were done and had to be replaced before the next winter. But still had some tread so I ran them into the summer until I hit the wear bars, to save putting on my new all season summer tires and rims.

There was not a lot of tread left to the wear bars yet I went to Aug on those Hakkapeliitta winters. My job has a lot of highway travel too. The thought that running winters in the summer wears them out fast did not hold true with this brand.
