Default Great weekend on the river

Had another excellent weekend on the river fishing with my son and daughter! Sturgeon fishing has become one of our favourite things to do together and the memories we are creating together are priceless!! These kids love to sit in the river for hours just as much as I do and are figuring out this fishing game very well!! Times like this are what it’s all about and we love every minute of it!! Here’s a few pics of the fun

Great Job!

I was down on the South Sask last week for a couple of days and caught my fill of everything but the sturgeon I was hoping for. Couldn't keep a hook in the water for more than 5 mins without a fish on. The family camping next to me had some good video of their daughters 40 lb'r.

I'm just glad I went since I was told I would probably have a hard time getting from pool to pool but she handled skinnier than expected.

Looks like the weather was perfect for you too

The SSR is running quite clear right now, nothing like the cloudy waters of the Fraser, I would compare it closer to the clear waters of the Harrison.. This season I’ve been having the best luck with worms. I always try minnows as well and for me, the worms have out performed minnows every time I’ve been out.

Allways great to see the next generation picking up the sport, and love dooing it.

Those are some nice Dino's, making life long memories, FANTASTIC!!

I have also had 90% of my Dino luck using jumbo worms, usually 2 or 3 per hook.

Congrats on being an awesome dad!
