Default Gull lake reg question

Just bought a licence for the last couple of days of the season. I didn't get any regs. What is the limit for white fish and ling?

I guess I'll be the first to say it.

Why would anyone get a fishing licence and not get regulations? It is just asking for trouble.

Good of you to come on here to ask for advice on the law but still taking a risk that you could be mislead. There are online regulations right on this site. Go to them and read it for yourself.

The 2011 Regs aren't online anymore, only the new 2012 ones that I could see. I had a paper copy handy so helped out the cowboy

When I bought my licence they didn't have any of the fishing regs for 2011 left. When I went on-line to look them up all that is avalible is the 2012 regs that is why I asked.

For Gull Lake, regulation and limits are changed for both lings (burbots) and lake whitefish. Changes apply from first day of new fishing season.

Question for those who has answers: Will the new lake whitefish limit be 3 (PP2 in http://albertaregulations.ca/fishingregs/pp2.html), or 2 (Management Message from http://albertaregulations.ca/fishing...anagement.html).
