Shore fishing Battle lake.

Hey guys, looking to take my grandson fish at battle lake tomorrow. Can you shore fish at this lake? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I've caught them off the dock at the campground. But it gets busy on weekends. The road travels along the lake heading west, there is a place where it goes right along the lake and have caught fish off a beaver house there. The other side of the lake there is some sort of Girl Scout camp? My buddy asked permission to camp there earlier this year and was rewarded. They also have a dock.
