I had to get them done quickly . . . I can't focus on any one thing for any length of time right now. If I didn't do them know I'd probably be the person that doesn't get them done this round.

Thanks. Honestly, though, the bucktail is a little long and I'd probably change a couple more things when I tie them again. They should be a fun pattern to play with, though

New board member here: When is the next one so I can get in on this? How have you guys (gals) done this in the past: have you done categories, such as lake nymphs, streamers, sal****er, steelhead, etc. ?

Damn. I feel sooooo left out!

I think we've done three since I've been a member: dry flies, nymphs, and now Jeff's "Tie what ya want" swap.

I'll be doing a swap as soon as Jeff has the flies shipped back to us for this one: a "Lifecycle" swap . . . how delish . If someone signed up for this swap, but didn't get her/his flies in, s/he will not be welcome to join (barring very extreme circumstances).

It varies, but the turn around time is typically quite generous.

Hopefully you get a few more in the next couple of days. I must say, I'm pretty disappointed in the numbers.

I'm wondering . . . instead of returning a pile of our own flies back to us, how would people feel about donating the extras to Project Healing Waters Canada? I could pick them up from Jeff's (and donate a flybox) as well as ship them to PHWC.

First, let me say I am speaking from the outside on this one, but that is a good idea Dark.

What about collecting an extra 2 flies from each participant and building a small fly box for donation? Just a thought.

I'll be doing that for the next swap. But since it looks like we'll have a few extras for this swap, I think it would be great to start building the donation boxes with this round.

Nope send me my flys back. This is a fly swap. Not a charity event. I do that already.
