No worries if anyone doesn't want to donate anything It wasn't part of the original plan, and some people might prefer to have their extras back.

If everyone is ok waiting till the first I will send them all out then. Honda you will get all your stuff back. I like the idea of the donation. Anyone NOT wanting to do this with extra flies "if there is any" Please post that you want them back. If I dont hear from you I will be sending all extras to Dark.

Sorry I have been away... but mine hit the mail last wednesday. and I let Jeff know i woudl be slightly late.

Jeff you should have them already or by monday at the latest.

Made a Vladi Worm, I am not 100% but I think I did those ones size 8 Daiichi 1870 hooks. Lead weighted hook Great for a anchor fly. and the trout love them.

but if I have any other extra I would like to get them back as I ran out of Materials and it cost quite a bit to order more, as I cannot get some of the materials locally have to be ordered from the states.

Cheers,

I'm OK with that too, but it looks like almost everyone has sent them in. I'm thinking your mail box will be full on Monday, Jeff.

Thanks again for hosting the swap, Jeff. It must be a new record for having all of the flies show up!

No kidding! I'm thrilled (and a more than little embarrassed that I jumped the gun in my assumptions and doubted anyone involved ))

I have not seen anything yet.

Did everyone else send a SASE as we discussed so the host did not have to pay shipping for everyone?

Nothing here yet either. In my experience 2 business days delivery is standard and if you get to 5 business days then they're not likely to turn up at all.

How thick where the envelopes once you mailed them, Jeff? If they're over 20mm thick then the $1.22 postage won't be enough.

Cheers,
Ben

Did you put them in a mail bag at work? If so, I suppose that could slow things down a bit. Sometimes our mail bag isn't picked up for a couple of days. If that's the case maybe you (Jeff) could double check and make sure the bag isn't still sitting there, and what the pick-up schedule is. I'm leaning towards the pick-up schedule being the issue, as no one has received anything.

If it is a postage issue, the flies will go to one of the addresses on the envelope. If Jeff's address is on the envelope they'll be returned to him. If his address isn't on the envelope, the envelope will go to the addressee: with "postage due." Canada Post would issue cards (like for packages, or registered mail) and the due postage would be paid at the post office when the flies were picked up.

Do we want to see the issues with this swap resolved before we start the next swap?

no problem! thks JTS!

I put a padded, posted envelope in. I find it is the best way. I put the same postage on it as the envelope I sent down. Of course I addressed it to myself. When you get to be my age you get very very smart!

That's good news! Canada Post has been giving me some grief lately so glad to hear that they're on the way now...look forward to seeing them!

Cheers,
Ben
