There's a draw for elk, sheep, and mule deer. You can buy tickets from AHEIA think they're about $10. If your the lucky winner you can for the most part hunt anywhere in the province and have an extended season as well.

Sounds sweet (for the winner),so is it just one tag for each of the listed animals? When do tickets come on sale and do you buy them online,is it a random draw? Thanks again.

Yes one tag for each. You can buy as many as you want and it's a random draw. Google AHEIA.

Default Ministers tags

To get the raffle tickets, try the AFGA office, as the Government gave the raffle to them for the next five years.

Call 780 437 2342 ask for Martin.

I doubt that tickets will be available for a month to six weeks.....ALGC works slowly at handing out raffle licences but they will be for sale on-line at www.afga.org when they become available or by calling the office at the number above. Yes, there will be licences for sheep, elk and mule deer available through both auction and resident-only raffle.
