Is there a particular manufacturer or model of rifle that you just can't take to?

For example,...do you hate Rem Model 7's

Weatherby's?

Marlins......

Also include what you do like....

Stop making fun of my SAKO sling...My Sako shirt, hat, socks and undies all help me shoot better LOL

I was actually out shooting tonight...

Saw 2 Black Bears and a buch of deer...got a few pics of one of the bears...the little guy saw them too, so he has not stopped saying "Look...Beeeear"

One gun that I could never take to was the savage 99,... I have shot them and owned a couple,..but no sir...

I don't like very many guns with those humpback looks...

Thumbs up

The only firearm I don't like is the one the government tells me I can't take out shooting in my back 40.

No anger towards the firearm of course but the idiot gun laws

Pretty much exactly what he said. Also not a fan of Tikka or Weatherby...not that they arent fine rifles but they don't fit me well and everytime i see a Tikka it reminds of a toy gun with all the plastic. Just my personal thoughts for myself...not Dissin anyone who ows or loves these rifles..

As for what I like, I have hunted with my .280 ruger m77 more than any other gun I have ever owned and it has been a great rifle for me.That being said my new Cooper is the sweetest gun I have ever laid my hands on....pretty sure everything else will be staying at home this year

Savage/Stevens bolt actions. Just don't care for them. They look and feel and are cheap, which may not be a bad thing, just not my cup of tea.

I can't stand weatherby's. I have shot several and never liked any of them. They are nice to look at, but their actions sucked and they seemed finiky and prone to jamming. For the price of them, I would expect a lot more. They seem like more of a status symbol than a functional purchase. And the price of their ammo is absurd. I was with WT junkie on my opinion of Tikka's T3's, that is until I got my hands on a T3 hunter. The action on a tikka is tough to beat, incredibly smooth. For me it was love at first touch with the T3 hunter But their composite stocks feel like crap. Savages are a great buy for their money. very reliable and accurate. Actions aren't very smooth but a very functional rifle IMO.

I like pretty well all guns. Some more that others of course.

I had a ruger mimi 14 ranch for a time that didn't shoot very well with anything I fed it. I never got round to reloading for it. Now when ever I look at one I don't get very excited.

I shot my first big game animal (a moose) with a savage 99 in .300 sav. and have always liked them.

For me it's Savage and Ruger 10/22's. Neither one of them fit me and I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with either.

There will never be a TC Encore, H&R Handi Rifle, or a Ruger Mini 14 in by gun cabbinet. Just not my cup of tea

Anything with a gloss finished wood stock turns my stomach. Happily that can be solved by stripping it and giving it a new clearcoat in satin or an oil rubdown. Browning BAR's are also pretty hideous. Gold plating is Also off limits.
