Default Jasper Bull

First open water fish of the season,a nice Jasper bull trout.

I didn't measure or weigh him just a quick pic and he was turned loose but I'm guessing he went about 5lbs..

Sweet, nice fish... seems surreal the weather difference today... sunny there and no snow and we've got a snowstorm...

Dayum, nice fish. I think the bull trout is the only alberta species I haven't caught but i'm gonna have one or more before the snow flies next winter.

Only on the south side of lake X....lol

Anyways I caught it on a Rapala X-Rap Shad but this time of year I'm sure I would have caught it on a pencil if I would have put hooks on it.

Hope you all have a great upcoming season and please keep the pics coming.

Nice Fish !

Of course we should let the people know the fish was not caught in a lake as the lakes are closed. They can figure out the rest.

Did you ever see a pike that far up?

Shocked me..
