Default Fishing near Edmonton in Sept?

Hey,

Was thinking of going fishing on the weekend. Any good places close to Edmonton? Don't want to drive far just want some catch and release fun. Is there a spot to go on the river? I also have my zodiac.

Its October....lol devils lake has been pretty good so far this fall and all the trout ponds are very good right now aswell. The river im not to sure but i would imagine the fall walleye bite should be on
