Now that I actually know how to differentiate between all these sucker species I though I better double check previous posts and I noticed 2 errors(1 on my part earlier).

This one is actually a silver redhorse. Can tell by the lateral line scale count which is ~42 for a redhorse compared to 60-70 on a white sucker.

This one I had entered as a shorthead redhorse back when I didn't know anything about suckers... It is actually a white sucker again can be figured out by lateral line scale count. Unfortunately white suckers weren't included for some reason.

thinking that may be a saugeye, very few black spots on the fins, does that count as 2 species? may be just because its only one step up from an egg just kidding, more like 2 steps

Hey now, don't make fun of my baby sauger lol.

Here is an update with my above fish and the sucker correction. Barring a river species upgrade I probably won't be adding anything more.

12.5 in Mooneye

Definitely a mooneye good work!

Goldeye usually have red/purple in their fins.

I Agree, This looks closer to a Saugeye, then a sauger, But because its so tiny... We will give it to Ravyak as a Sauger !

[QUOTE=RavYak;2579884]Balls back in your court Hacman.

Looks like you've been busy, nice work. Been away the last 10 days soaking up some sun, maybe we can we add Wahoo to the list? Ha! I'll post a pic when I get back.

Default My last submission

That's it, my last submission is this 20" Longnose sucker. Fished a lot of different water that I wouldn't have normally. Thanks for the competition and congrats on a great open water season everyone.

I was bored this afternoon so made some signatures up for all the winners, I will post them on Saturday after this is finished.

I removed Beeguy from the competition since he is no longer on AO(banned). If the judges decide he should remain included then I will put his fish back in. Here are updated standings for anyone still planning on going out in these last couple days.

As I have stated many times these standings aren't really official but since no official update has been given I hope the judges don't make any significant changes.

Here are the signatures I made up. Up to you guys if you want to use them or if you want to make your own, modify them or whatever. I just figured I would make something up to give people a little recognition for what they achieved. If you want to use these save a copy to your computer so you don't lose it if I delete them.

hacman

WayneChristie

neekrivers

Congrats to you as well the most species is as tough if not a tougher accomplishment, all you needed was a nice pike or a lake trout and you would have had me on total inches. I tried multiple times to catch some of those other species but I just couldn't find them.

They were tied so both get the reward.

Same reason dryrush has the largest RMW. Beeguy is no longer a member on this forum... I clearly stated I removed him for this reason...
