My CR500 would still shower them with rocks and clods but they are pretty cool for backyard tracks without disturbing your neighbours.

Cr500 is extinct. Have not sold new Honda two stroke Big bore in 20 years. Plus my crf450 blows the two stroke in the weeds. Can ride the four stroke twice as long before getting beat up. Top end the four stroke wins, midrange all two stroke. Plus burn half the fuel, and no mixing fuel.

Does anyone have a link to the battery powered track machine (seen on Global) being tested in Edm?

About 10 years ago we were shopping in Spokane, getting the kids some new school clothes. I went out into the parking lot while the wife paid. Near our car was a strange looking vehicle I was totally unfamiliar with.
It was cabbed, but not much wider than a Honda Goldwing with fairings and saddlebags. It was fairly tall and had 4 wheels and two bucket seats one behind the other like a fighter jet,
I was still staring at it when the owner came out. I asked what it was and he replied it was an electric car that he had invested in. I can't remember the name even though I had a brochure for years. He was travelling with his daughter and they were from California. He said they could drive pretty much all day and it would be charged overnight. Top speed, he didn't really know as it was scary fast, if he cranked the throttle open, it would lay rubber as long as he kept the throttle full open. I asked about the battery and he said that they filled the spaces under their feet about 1ft deep. Not much for luggage space. Could be a interesting commuter car in mild climates. I have never seen another one.

Isn't the biggest reason anyone would have a dirt bike is to make lot's of loud obnoxious noises?
I can see it now, electric dirt bikes with a loud speaker and some sort of emulator on them.
It would be like what the synthesizer did to music in the 80's.

Lol. The number of tracks shut down over the past 20 years is outrageous. Noise, increased population density, liability, etc.
Bruderheim has excellent mx track. Spent $50,000.00 on complete underground sprinkler system. However as Bruderheim grew in the last 20 years, people moved closer to track. Complaining about noise. Town of Bruderheim shut track down. Bruderheim club was never recovered there loss. Club folded. To answer question, very little noise, pollution or even maintenance on electric motorcycle.
They can get these machines built, sold for $8-10k. It will be doable.

BRP and Bomardier are two totally separate companies.
BRP is a very successful company owned by some rich American politician. Ross Perot maybe?
Bombardier is, well, Bombardier.

Yup electricity produces more torque. It’s right now power...
