2015 Salmon/Halibut Derby: July 8-11, DETAILS HERE!

Hey guys,

So as I posted last year around Christmas we are working on a derby here in Port Hardy for our guests July 8-11. 4 full days fishing and nights accommodation plus all meals, fully guided on our 27-31ft Pursuit and Grady Whites. This time of the year is perfect for quantity of Chinook, with some smaller Coho showing up as well. Plus there should be a few Tyees hitting the dock.

First prize is free entry into the 2016 derby, essentially a free trip! Plus we will be having daily prizes as well including fishing tackle and gear from our suppliers as well as a ton of FishBum apparel! We all know how awesome their gear is.

Price will be $2999 for the 4 day fishing package based on 4 per boat. Like I said this is all inclusive, all you need is your camera, clothes, and a toothbrush, only things not included are fishing license ($29), custom processing, and alcohol other than wine (We all know we would go broke if we included all the booze as Albertans can drink with the best of them !!)

We are hoping to make this an all AO event, as of now we have 4-5 tentatively lined up, would love to get that number to 12.

Not only do we have killer salmon fishing, but our halibut and bottomfishing is off the charts. We go where no one else does or knows about so we bring in some beautiful fish and size extra large to boot. Regardless of what some say, sooo many guests say catching that once in a life time 150+lb halibut is an awesome feeling and even though you can't keep it, they tell me it made their trip! We still get some wicked pictures with them.

Right now is about the same dates as when this trip is, salmon fishing right now is off the charts awesome, non stop action for Chinook with some Coho sprinkled in there. As is the halibut fishing...see below for pictures from yesterday!!! (The 8th, so first day of derby next year)

Looking forward to that!!!! Today was another day that would be derby day and TWO TYEES landed today. All three boats limited on chinook in only a cpl hrs even in rougher waters. Pics shortly!!

Last two days have been nothing short of stellar. Limits all around. Today halibut released two over 100 plus kept limit of 25-67lbers. Salmon was wicked today too.

Excited to have you guys up. Have 3 who have contacted me directly confirmed, couple more most likelys. Only $250 deposit per guy needed to secure, bump up to 50% jan of 2015. Let's fill up the boats with ao and then with fish
