Default Bearspaw Access coming soon?

There is a new development called Rockland Park that should allow access to Bearspaw once the development starts. It’s based on the old rock quarry on the north shore of the Resevoir. Signs just went up this week at the show home/Center on Nose Hill Drive in Tuscany. I bet there will be some access next winter. Check out the map from the website. Search Rockland Park on google if you are interested. I honestly can’t wait to set up shop on the ice right off the docks of the kind folks who gated us out 10 years ago.

I hope you’re right but don’t you think the homeowners association will block it off the same way the guys on the south side did?

With all the bike paths planned I think it will be wide open access. Crossing my fingers......

Would be cool if it connected the bike paths all the way to Glenbow ranch trail system. Would be a nice ride.

I really have my doubts about it opening up. People get pretty greedy and I wouldn't be surprised if they gated it off. It looks like just another development for the wealthy going in...heres a article from last year

Default Time to write

Now would be the time to start writing our new environment minister about ensuring access to a public lake. Jason Nixon is a friend to the outdoorsman.

Really? look at what he is doing to the Provincial Parks and the grooming of X-country ski trails in Kananakis Country

Hopefully this will be the answer to both problems.
