Playing with the wood stove in my new to me ice shack

New, just picked it up Friday. I have one of those Koenders black plastic ice shacks. This stove is an accessory that you can buy for the shack. Used propane last year but don,t like the fumes, was getting headaches if I fished all day and used the heater lots. Plus I have about 40 cords of birch firewood all cut up just waiting to be burned.

Great post. I saw a wood stove at Princess auto for $100 yesterday that looked like Ken's and I'm thinking of putting in my unhated shop. I just got my electric bill so I'm really thinking about it now.

There seems to be a lot of art/experience to make this thing work. Are there instructions any where I can read? The draft posts from the experts make a lot of sense, is that all I need to know. I want to run the pipe out horizontally like a pellet stove, is that O.K.
