Default Lets see some pics from your 2012-2013 ice fishing

Heres some of my better hauls this winter.

Blackstrap. We only keep a max of ten perch out of there. Between three of us there is more than enough perch for a meal. We catch them up to 12 inches, with most keepers around 10 and 11.

Blackstrap Walleye. 26 inches. Didn't weigh it. We figured if it had survived long enough to get that big in that lake we would let it go.

No secret where this is from. 85 cm. Released. We don't keep any over 75 cm. I landed one 16 lb dark and orange hog but the phone they took the photo on is cooked.

Some 10 - 11 inch razorbacks moose lake.

Splake out in sask. We missed a few rainbows that had to be pushing 7 lbs. Had two of their heads half up the hole and they were nearly as wide as our 10 in holes.

Nice fish
I have yet to catch any photo worthy but I hope Friday will change so I can at least have a few fish to brag about this winter

Lol, and what if it was kept? Then I guess the "handling techniques" wouldn't matter. Didn't take long to stir the pot........

Maybe they kept it to eat? Someone shares pictures and you jump to conclusions unless they say they are at a C&R only lake don't assume anything or you make a ___ out of yourself.

You are and your criticizing his handling techniques not knowing anything about the situation for all you know the fish is already dead in the picture. If you have nothing but negative stuff to say about people posting fish pictures keep it to yourself, comments like yours are why nobody is sharing them anymore.

If you post a picture of fish handling techniques like that you should expect others to jumpto cconclusions and criticize.

In what world do you live in where that is acceptable? Guilty until proven innocent? Seriously don't post anything in threads where people are showing fish if you have nothing good to say and are only going to criticize and publicly attack them. Your comments are not welcome here and I am utterly sick and tired of the BS negativity in these threads caused by people like you. Wanna say something to someone PM them.

Default Fishy Picture

Thank you to all that shared fish pictures here!! I love them and they make me want to go fishing now! For those that do not enjoy the pictures or that are jealous of others catches buzz off! You are rude and do not deserve to look at the pictures or enjoy others stories of fishing. Please think before you type you may offend someone or hurt their feelings. I am afraid to put my pictures up because of people like you and you know who you are! TROLL!

from reading the entirety of this forum i believe that to keep the trolls at bay when we post pictures we should just make an effort to leave controversial activities out of the pictures and the problem will be solved

OR one could keep to the intent of the originals op post. If you have nothing nice to say, simple, refrain and move on. If they see something in one thread that brings up personal points worthy of discussion, start a new thread so once again you can keep to the original intent of the thread. Lastly as last resort, if you as members see a post that moves away from the integrity of the forum rules, report the post vs engaging, thats why we get paid the big bux
