Cold Lake should be called Kool Lake.
Seems like a real hot spot.
I will admit to being a lil jealous...
It's far from Calgary

Sounds like an awesome time! The fishing becomes secondary when you're having that much fun. Hopefully you guys left some fish for us next weekend.

Thanks for letting us have a peek.

That's how I roll.

It was a great trip and it's looking like I'm heading back up in 2 weeks to do it again. It won't be the same without this crowd though.

I can't wait for "Hung Like A Trout 2014"

Obvious benefit of a forum such as this are the opportunities created when like-minded outdoor enthusiasts congregate to share stories, ideas, experience, knowledge, and sometimes even outdoor episodes that lead to friendships. Kudos to FisherGrrrl & company, thanx for sharing your adventure, and congrats on your success with the fishes!

Well said :-) for years I actually thought I was the only one in edmonton that had a passion for fishing.. it looked that way anyway when I asked friends to join me...little did I know there was a whole community of fishermen and fisherwomen!!! Through this forum I have learnt tons and have met lots of great people that are now stuck with me a friends

Hey Scott

Would love to come next year.... How far is it from Edmonton?

Count me in for the 2014 trip, I know many a great spots on the big pond, my last trip with HunterTrav was nothing short of amazing, in 4 days we caught landed and released probably close to 400 lakers ranging from 5 to 16 lbs (not kidding about 400)....we hit a honey hole and by the end of the week my arms were so sore I could barely lift a can of beer to my lips, still managed to though LOL! So whoever says the fishery at that lake is hurting better get their head examined. Many many fish in there, just have to find them
