I was wondering if anyone has been on Chip lake this year. Working on a plan for a trip out that way. Hoping to hear good things about the ice and fishing.

Thanks

Was out there weekend before last, was 7 inches of ice and 3-4 inches of slush. This colder weather has probably solidified things so should be good to fish but I definitely wouldn't think about driving on.

2014-12-24: 12 to 14" ice on Burnstick.
Some tire tracks on the ice, but only sleds and quads out today. Little thin for full size vehicles IMO.

Default Travers reservoir

How's the ice at Travers? Or is there still open water along the shore?

Lac Ste Anne on Saturday, 12" clear ice, 2-3" white ice. Maybe 2" of snow on top.
Saw 5 vehicles on the ice near where we were fishing, we chose to take the quad

Default B.C. Lakes near 100 mile House.

Sulfurous Lake just outside 100 Mile House BC, 3-4 inches of ice yesterday. Safe to walk but watch for thin pockets. Kokanee are slow to fair.

Deka Lake - ice near shore okay, watch for thin spots as you go deeper. Fishing VERY slow.
