"Real Weeds"?

Any body make there own strucure? How should I make them? How well do they work for pikers? Thanks

I've seen those things in a few ice fishing mags & wondered how well they would work! I think for perch in shallower water they might be good but it would require lot of fish moving around or leaving them in the same place overnight so fish have a chance to find them. Thinking they might work for pike in large featureless mud or sand flats like @ Wilsons or Brownlows at Gull.

They work good on a stationary shack put some under back edge of shack
weight them down mono line up to ice redrill hole and pull them out when season over
