Not that big a reservoir. You can drive around the entire lake and walk on, furthest distance from shore to shore would be about 200yd walk.

Stay safe and walk on like most others do.

I’d rather fish in my shack but I need to get it on the lake

Is anyone having any luck out there? When I was out there in the summertime about the only fish people were catching was Prussian carp. I managed one trout but was very disappointed with how the fishing was.

You can drive on the lake. My spot is 20 yds from shore so I’ve never had to bother, but lots drive on.

Tried last week one morning when it was only supposed to be -12C. Well the wind was probably a solid 45km/h and the windchill around -30C.

We set up in like 20 fow after struuuugling to get the tent set up (after getting my wife's Honda stuck in the snow once eyeing up a spot to drive on).

Marked a few fish (assuming trout) in 10 fow and could get them chasing but not commit.

Also got a few marks slowly rise off bottom which I assume was carp.

Couldn't even stay warm with two guys in an insulated shack with a buddy heater cranked.

Pretty vicious but I'll likely do something dumb and try again soon.
