Default Question re: Berkely Vanish

I just bought some 8 lb. berkely vanish, and hoping somebody can tell me if this flourocarbon line stretches at all?
When at Spray lake, I usually use braided line like fireline because of it's non-stretch quality to detect bites in 100 feet of water, and I'd like to be able to use this flourocarbon stuff there, but worried about stretchiness like with monofilament line.

Thanks!

it stretches maybe slightly less than mono. It also tends to keep its kinks.

Default Berkely

Ya, I noticed a little bit of stretch when I tugged on a 5 ft section of it. Thanks for the info, that's all I need to decide against using it in 100 feet of water. Who knows how many bites would go undetected!
