Cool!
I'm sure I could find some nice specimens around here seeing as how there are large herds that travel right through my back yard.
Never have seen a live shed but did come across a matching set of very very fresh whitetail antlers years ago. I was thrilled to find a set and they were practically still steaming, lucky find. They were quite bloody and the scent coming off them was potent to say the least.

Out sleding last year near foxcreek, we were going down a pipeline, I was last in line. The guys ahead of me stirred up just the butt of a whitetail horn. I knew what I was seeing so I stopped. As I dig it out of the snow I see a bump in the snow beside it. Found the left side. Both antlers had to have fell off pretty much at the same time to be that close. Cool video.

Amazing vid. I'd always thought they had to shed *against* something, like a tree or a rock face. Thrilling to see the wood just come off like that.

Last year I spooked a 4x4 muley in the bale yard and as he bounced away both antlers fell off! Picked up a 4 point muley shed this morning.

Never seen a shed-Live, but my father witnessed one of a bull moose 2 yrs ago outside of Grande Cache. He said it was pretty neat to see. The bull seemed happy to get rid of it.
