2009 bucks
Hey guys, figured I should finally get these up here. Nothing too crazy, but had a lot of fun this season. Ended up with a couple bucks and a couple does, and got to be part of a lot of other successful hunts with friends and family. Thought I would post a couple pics of my bucks. The Mulie was hard earned! I bowhunt this country hard every year and always see lots of 180+ mulies a hundred yards or so out of bow range, so was pretty excited about extending the shot range with this years rifle draw. Turned out to be the worst deer hunting I have ever seen in this area. It took me 17 days of hard hunting to finally find a decent buck that I could get permission to put a stalk on. So much for the easy pickings I was expecting, worked out well though. The WT was pretty cool, he's just a little guy but it was an awsome hunt. I busted my arm really badly back in august and they told me there was no way I was drawing my bow until at least christmas. So I busted my ass and managed to turn the pounds down and get the bow drawn for the last week of the season. Rattled this little guy into 5 yards and there was no way I was gonna pass on the opportunity to keep the bow and arrow streak going. Anyway, was a good year, good luck chasing yotes, wolves, and anything else we're allowed to shoot at this time of year.
