Default Frank Lake

Anyone ever hunted grey partridge there? Was thinking on heading there with the pup to let her run around and take in the natural sights and stuff and see if I can get some grey partridge. Since its a DUC I'm pretty sure its ok.... correct me if I'm wrong peep.

You can, an I've seen upland hunters walking the area, but I have never come across partridge anywhere near the lake. I've seen hunters and dogs in the field just to the west but I believe that's private land.

I have seen several coveys of huns along the lake border and I believe they sometime release pheasants at the site as well as I often run into hens and the occasional rooster when I have hunted waterfowl there. Not many but seen occasionally. I imageine the amount of pressure is high and keeps them from being more plentiful.
