No-You read it as I intended. I reduced the almond flour and added ground flax.

Made some Mennonite style borscht the other day.

I started with last years venison shanks and braised them for about 4 hours til the meat fell off the bone. Reserved the meat, put the bones and drippings in the soup pot along with carrots, onions, celery, bay leaf, beef bouillion and black peppercorns and filled with water. Simmered for a few hours, then drained the broth to another pot. Added fresh carrots, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, fresh dill, more peppercorns and the meat. Simmered for a couple hours til the veggies were done. Served piping hot with a spoonful of sour cream, more fresh dill and a splash of malt vinegar... mmmmm, just like grandma used to make.

Yesterday was ling cod. 1 piece seasoned then cooked in a 6/1 pressure cooker. Rest was battered.

Today is pressure cooker chicken. What an amazing machine

My most excellent wife caught me flat footed with a surprise dinner at my favorite Greek Restaurant for my 60th birthday.

12 of my closest friends and family for a hilarious 4 hour dinner where under the influence of much Ouzo, I challenged the belly dancer to a dance off and won
Unbelievably thoughtful gifts from my sons purchased over 10 years ago in anticipation of tonight brought me to tears.

12 bottles of my favorite spirits-Raki brought from a backyard distiller in Crete- and over $500 in gift certificates ranging from Springbank cheese to CT to Bass Pro for Wood Pellets

Gob Smacked and Grateful to one and all
