Default Rock Lake north of Brooks

any fish in there? The regs say pike up to 63cm & I'm looking for a back up plan in case the fishing at our campground on the Red Deer River sucks. Thanks!

tried there 2 years ago, yes there are pike in there. you could also try Tilley B, Kowoki or any of the other lakes in the area too.

Thanks a lot! My nephew is coming and I don't want his first fishing trip to be a skunker. Not sure if I have a lot of faith in the Red Deer River that crosses highway #36

I wouldnt bother with it, its just another overharvested stunted out piece of crap. Youll catch pike, and lots of them, but dont go thinking your on a real gem, quite the contrary actually. Theres better sloughs in the country, depends what your looking for I guess. Quality experiences on HEALTHY fisheries is a thing of the past down here.
