Default Dads Pet Beaver

Hi my name is Gary Steeves.

My father Clarence Steeves had the oldest registered Trap line in Northern Alberta from 1940 to appox 1994.

Dad always had a great sense of humor and in 1960, the year I was born, he was beaver trapping at the cabin north of Sexsmith, Alberta. This is the photo that was taken of him and his pet beaver.

The next pic is a cache to store furs and food away from animails, it was lost in the flood of 1945.

The next pic is of Dad(Clarence Steeves) on right and Jerry on the left and me behind the camara. This is to show the best of beaver trapping in one day. We had many days like this on the line.

Thanks Gary
