Pretty sure normal regs apply there if its not listed and if its not listed I believe trout llimit is 5. It's in kananaskis which is a provincial park so only your regular alberta license is needed I believe.

Hi, I thought you needed a separate license to fish each provincial park? like peter lougheed or spray valley?

Only in National Parks do you need a separate fishing licence!!

You are good to go with just a regular Alberta Sportfishing Licence in all of Alberta's Provincial Parks.

Cheers,

Cheers,
Thanks for the clarification, I totally did not understand that part. Would these particular details be included in the Alberta fishing regs book? and if not where would someone get the fishing regs for Provincial fishing?

The regs which you would pick up at any tackle store (and at this link: http://albertaregulations.ca/fishingregs/) ARE the provincial regs. No special regulation book is printed for the provincial parks. As stated above, only the NATIONAL PARKS are subject to their own set of regulations.

If you have a copy of the 2011 Alberta Fishing regs in front of you right now, or check out this link http://www.srd.alberta.ca/FishingHun...s/Default.aspx, im looking on page 17, 3rd paragraph it reads...

Sportfishing in Provincial and National Parks

Alberta Sportfishing Regulations apply in Alberta Provincial Parks, but not
in National Parks. Separate regulations apply to those waters or portion of
waters within National Parks. To fish in a Provincial Park, you need an
Alberta Sportfishing Licence (see licence exemptions under “Requirements”
on page 16). Provincial licences are not valid inside National Parks and
regulations may differ. To fish in a National Park, you need a National Park
Fishing Permit, which is valid only within the National Park. National Park
fishing permits are available at most park facilities and some commercial
outlets. For information on sportfishing in the National Parks, contact the
Western Regional Office of Parks Canada in Calgary at (403) 292-4401, or
toll free 1-800-748-7275.
Fishing in a Wilderness Area or Ecological Reserve is prohibited by the
Wilderness Areas, Ecological Reserves, Natural Areas and Heritage Rangelands Act.

Hope that answers all questions.

Cheers,
