Default Calgary wildlife ID

Project from the city, they're looking for some help identifying critters on camera. If you want to burn some time and get a bit of cam envy over some big bucks this is pretty fun.

What was the goal of the project? Seems like they had quite a few spypoints out.

I’ve seen the cameras out for a few years around North Glenmore park. Either I’m blind or spypoint is trigger happy.

There are definitely a lot of empty pictures. I believe the goal is to understand what type of animals are living where and what effects pathways and human interactions have on the populations.

I think they could definitely use someone with more experience with trail cameras and set ups. Would be kinda fun.

Neat idea. Lots of blank slides, cattle, and deer (many of which are blurred, or severely cut off, etc.). I used it with my outdoor ed kids today (pictures projected on the board, so we were working on IDs together), to give them some practice with deer ID. Some enjoyed it, others were frustrated with the blank slides and low variety.
