Default Flying Over Red Deer

About two weeks ago I seen what looked like geese or ducks flying past Red Deer. I took a couple pictures to show everyone. Anybody else see them?

there's always a few that stay every year, as long as they have open water, they will be fine ! The bow river in Calgary, the Red Deer river, the north sask. river, all have portions that stay open year round ! Wabamun lake used to have open water as well, with lots staying over there ! There is probably a couple thousand birds down on the bow right now ! Might take the camera, could be some good pictures !

What really freaked me out was seeing a robin in the McTaggart Sactuary in February.

The birdfeed store guy told me that a lot of people own heated bird baths. Go figure.

Had a pair of male sparrows fighting over the nest box in the backyard here yesterday. The infernal merlins have reappeared as well. Please let it be spring......
