Trappers seem to be a secretive bunch... calliing locals wasnt very productive. Get a copy of the ATA mag there are some listings in there.

Well, this may be a new section recommendation for the forum, however I think it would be hard to get cooperation from sellers. The reason I say this is my observation of when they do get listed, people pick them apart as to size, price, they may burn, and on and on.

I have to agree with you Northern Trapper....people to pick them apart and ussually have not much good to say about the price, size, why are you selling and so on and so on. It's to bad, cause this would be a great tool to use for that and you would think people would realize and respect that.

Gabby.

Thats what thick skin is for...

I think some people are shocked at more recent trapline prices because of the recreational property market towards guys that want a hunting cabin. Been shopping around, seems that the one are for sale start at 1 twp lines for 30-50k,. Thats with nothing on it, or one small cabin.

Surprised that no one in west central AB has any interest in a junior partner either, that says something also.
