Nice work lefty .. I have the new stealth cam epic, mounted to my stabilizer .. the 1080 hd produces some nice footage but like you said you need to keep the bow up on your follow through to get the images your after.. congrats on some fine eats !!

Here is the footage....as you can see its tough to make out the shot without going frame by frame...

Hard to believe it took under 10 seconds to turn on my cam.....draw and fire! At some point the instinct to do what is needed to make a shot kicks in...

Thanks Mamba! I played with my camera during 3d season so I knew what to expect come hunting season I tried all types of mounts and setups...thought about head mounting but then when I shoot my bow my head turns slightly....so I figure I'll video and leave it where it is and if it works out it's a bonus!

Default First Animal Ever!

Congrats on ur elk. I got a cow moose for my very first animal I've ever harvested with a grim reaper razor tip ss and it left a great blood trail and she only went 80 yards from where I arrowed her. I haven't weighed an arrow yet but I'd have to say around 400gr since I'm shooting longer arrows and am a 30" draw length. Had to work my ass off getting her packed out. Very impressed with the grim reaper mechanicals!

I read your story...and man you had to work for that cow! Kudos are deserved.

Nice work Lefty, I see the tactacam worked out great! I turned mine on the other day but the elk didn't come out like I wanted. Congrats on your elk!

Default My 2014 Mulie Buck

Well this is the high light of my bow hunting career. I stalked this buck to 54yrds and made a great shot quartering away, he went 30yrds and fell over in the crop. I was speechless when i walked up to him. Green scored by a boone and crocket scorer at 211" total bone with a 199" typical frame before deductions. Deer of a life time, enjoy the pics. I posted in the hunting form earlier.

Nothing crazy but great times with the best Hunting partner my Daughter. This is her first year able to harvest a animal so come riffle season she will get her chance.

Was fortunate enough to take my first animal in 5 years back on September 13th. Bulls were bugling hard but only came in to a lost cow call, fatal mistake at 23 yards.
