Prepped the last of my 6.5 PRC brass so it's ready to load, just have about 150 .223 brass to go then everything is ready to load, the weather has been so nice I've been out chasing yotes instead of doing inside stuff.

I loaded 400 rounds of 9 mm ammo using Campro 124 gr round nose bullets, Red Dot powder left over from my trap shooting days, and UnisGinex primers. I did this on a single stage press … luckily I had the brass prepped and primed already. It worked out to about $13.50 per 50 rounds. My biggest problem was getting the bullets started up into the seating die. They’re slippery little buggers.

A few months ago, I had asked for a few ideas from fellows to be fielded on a new loading room and bench. It’s been a slow roll getting it finished but, I’m almost there. Just finished the jointing of the bench halves this afternoon. I’d never done that specific vein of carpentry before. Turned out alright.

I’m not sure if I’ll end up regretting in or not, but in the efforts of keeping the wall space above the bench and below the upper shelving clean for hanging tools and an Inline Fab wall rack system, I opted to have my power outlets below the bench top. In the picture are two bench top power outlets. There’s two 110V receptacles and two USB per bank. I can either leave them raised up a touch or router a recess to have them flush. I’ve procured dummy plugs for all in the event I do mount them flush or leave them proud. Spillage of powder or primers being my only concern.

The chaos is driving me nuts but it’s the home stretch now. Stain, epoxy and trim will be getting done in the coming days and I can finally get everything organized. I’ll be going with a 4” riser with quick change plate for my press from Inline. Imagine my next purchase following completion will either be a Henderson 3:1 trimmer or an FX120.

I should mention, the entire room was constructed as legal storage. Industrial steel door and frame etc. I won’t get into the nitty gritty of construction details, but good luck getting in there without several hours to kill.

Spent a bunch of time at the bench yesterday, finished prepping the 6.5 PRC and 7mm PRC brass then did 187 for the 6mm Creedmoor start to finish, I'm ready for another trip to nose hill

Loaded 60 shot shells for 410, and can keep loading for a while yet.
Somewhat manually, but have primed hulls, wads, crimper, Lil Gun and lots of 7.5 shot.

Tweaking my idea for a scope leveling tool. Seems like I am on the right track but.... Leveled a couple scopes (with the tool) and will be mounting a Sightron 8-32 mil dot in a couple days. My first ever mil dot scope we will see if I like it or not? So far the Xhair seems pretty clean and does not get in the way, like most others I have ever looked at.

I looked at my loading presses a while back and realized that I had sold my 410 press some time ago. To tat end, I was loading by hand 50 at a time with my Harrel measure, and hand tools Lee .
Decided to get another set of dies for one of my "parts presses" and now have another 600jr set up for 410- that will happen today .

Prepped brass from ADG 7 SAUM into 6.5 Sherman Shortmag.
Pushed shoulders back, trimmed cases, seated 130 gr VLDs after weighing out a mild charge of 4831sc. once these are shot thus fireforming the cases i'll neck turn, anneal, and then size them to be ready for the 140 VLDs with N570 that the rife really likes

Tidied up the bench in the Garage. Started wondering if I should move it into the basement storage room it would be a more stable temperature but less room to work with.

Prepped 110 once fired 223 Lapua brass and reloaded with CFE 223, CCI #400 SRP and 55 gr ballistic tips. As much as I like shooting coyotes with a little semi 223 I sure loose lots of brass.

It might. Only way to tell will be to buy it and try it out. I have one that I set out when I’m shooting off the bench but it’s too big for hunting.

A couple guys I shoot with clip them onto their bench rest bolt guns, they seem to work good

I used one once it works just fine. BUT does throw your rifle out of balance as it fills up

I built this bench and shelves like 10(?) years ago.

When I did, I mounted a power-bar way up in the top left-hand corner above the top shelf. Stupid place to mount it, it was so inconvenient to access, I couldn't plug anything in to it.

And the bench has been a mess lately, really cluttered, an awful pile of unnecessary crap, empty boxes etc...

Tore everything off the shelves, threw out a pile of junk, sorted out a bunch of stuff for yard sales, and finally re-located the power-bar to the proper bench-height access in the bottom left-hand corner.

Now I'll be able to easily plug in stuff like the case tumbler (which is running on the bench right now).

Tomorrow I'll put 'er all back together and re-organize everything on the shelves.

Created a spot on the bench for my manuals and built a slick book-stop out of solid birch that I milled on the Alaska mill.
