Default 1st time at Chickakoo......?? !!

What a nice little lake in a great surrounding.

Went there for an hour and a half last night. Jumping everywhere. I had one very nice bite and only retrieved it half way in then snagged. Lost the fish but once I got my snag loose ended up with someone elses line and spinner as well as another line with two huge weights and bare hook.

All I had was some orange powerbait floating balls. Didn't work well. Does anyone have advice on baits?

Also, since we are ALL suppose to be lovers of the outdoors.... Can you IDIOTS please clean up your wrappers, Timmys cups, old line and (like me) take your butts to the garbage with you. Don't hurt yourselves running back there to clean your mess up.. I DID IT!

Thanks. I needed to VENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was only there for about 40 minutes and brought in three rainbows between 9 and 11 inches long. I lost a couple in the logs ( i was on the beaver lodge) and had lots of close calls. the brookies were being shy that morning.
