Fly Rod Case for 11 foot 2 piece rod
Hi,
I was wondering if someone could tell me who makes or where I could find a fly rod case that you can leave the reel on and holds an 11 foot 2 piece fly rod.
I have attached a picture of the style of the case I am looking for.
Thanks for the help,

Good luck, probly have to make yer own from PVC pipe and maybe a reel pouch if you want to leave reel attached?
Maybe cut a slot into the reel end of the pipe so you can leave leave the reel on and still be able to put the end cap on too?

My guess is you are S.O.L. Why not make/get a case for the rod only and case up the reel separately?

Cuz it's a PITA to have to string up the rod every time you move if you're driving/pool hopping on a river.
I hate my 4pc rod cases for this very reason, should probly take my own advice and build a few custom PVC cases myself, lol

I made a couple of these for pool hopping
These aren't mine but I don't have any pictures of them mounted

I saw a double case like that. I was told it could hold up to a 10'+ rod assembled.
Talk to these guys.

This setup is what I was going to recommend. Check out “sea sucker” vacuum cups. I think they offer similar. And very powerful cups, but expensive.

I built mine from copper pipe, glazier's suction cups and velcro straps from Princess Auto and pipe insulation from Rona. Under $50 all in.

I like that hood mounted rig that professori posted, they seem to be really popular with the Spey crowd(singlehanders too I spose) on the coast where it's not uncommon to drive between a half dozen different stretches or more in a day chasing chrome.

Well the rod is 11 feet so I think it would be too short, it would need to be 67 inches or longer. Thanks for the offer!
