Interested to see some still calling it "camping".

I was looking through the local paper awhile ago and saw an ad for trailers and motor homes. It said "RV season is just around the corner."

Last year while tent camping in Sask. my wife and I decided to get a truck camper but had to take a vow that we would NOT spend too much time inside it while camping. A nice place if it is raining and a bit more comfort to sleep in.

The bugs were not too bad and we listened to loons calling at each lake we camped near while eating supper near an open fire. Don't want to sit inside and miss that.

You might want to consider it too, even the rusty trucks need their oil changed every now and then!

Bear ripped up my small tent last summer in a remote camp I set up for my son and nephew. Tore it to hell. Went back up the next day to clean up the destruction. Never did see the bear, nor did the boys. Now I bought a Cabelas Guide Alaskan, that sucker cost me $300 with the employee discount. Please no bears this year.

Theres bears in dem der hills BG Shawn NoLuck.

How do you think I know about the place? Take you speedos Shaun.

I love how the tourists around the Shunda Hostel take pictures of the oilfield workers, and think everyone in Alberta looks like them.

Thats ok with old greylynx.
