A surprise from my hunting partner
My buddy makes these awesome chairs, they've been lovingly labelled his "bull$%!+ chairs". They get the name from the way you sit on them, kinda like sitting backwards on a chair at hunting camp, shooting the BS with your buddies.
Well, tonight he surprised me with one that he had personalized for me as an early birthday gift. Love it, especially the laser-engraving he had done...looks awesome with the stain choice. Wanted to show it off here and see what the other hunters thought...

He's selling them for betwen $175 and $275, depending on how much engraving work is done on them since he has to contract that out.
Some might think that's a little steep but they are made from solid oak (mine is the last of his fir) and each is hand-crafted with great attention to detail.
What's really neat is the engraving is really limitless. I know he's done some as prizes for an annual poker tourney, some with family coat-of-arms but he was saying that any photo could even be turned ino the engraving subject.
I was thinking about one for my father with the engraving being taken from a photo of him and his first bull elk (it was a hawg)...how cool would that be for preserving a memory!
If anyone want his cotact info just drop me a PM

There is no "refreshment" holder and no vise for the rifle.
Nice job though....

That's a very thoughtful gift and should be appreciated. That and it looks like an adult highchair, which is a good idea.
