Default New to Tanning Small Hides

By any chance does anyone have any pointers for tanning rabbit hides. I've searched the web and I feel comfortable with the process. This will be my first attempt at tanning anything and any help will be greatly appreciated. What tanning kits or tools should a guy pick up for the process and are there any brands to stay away from. Hopefully this attempt will work out and then I can slowly work my way to brain tanning.

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I'm in the lethbridge area, is there anyone that is local that would be willing show me proper techniques?

What tanning method you considering? Biggest problem with rabbit pelts is silver fish moths will eat it completely away if the skin doesn't cure the hole way. I may be able to help if you explain what method your considering. I worked tanning capes and hides for a few years but i'm not familiar with all methods. Is it salted yet? I'm by Lethbridge as well and may be able to reccomend some spots to check out dependent on your end goal.
