Kidding, wicked cat. I have only seen lynx in AB, dozens and dozens this year. The hare population is really high so the lynx population is as well.

when i was a kid growing up , on my haunts and exploring trips, along the irrigation canal that ran just wet of Landon and just north Delmeade, i ran across Bobcat (not lynx) on a regular basis, but to see a deer track was very rare, and never ever seen a deer , in the 60s and early 70s

I've been fortunate enough to take 2 in my life .. The first when I was 13 which now is a nice rug { that was a100 years ago } , second in the early 80"s trapping . $ 200 dollars was a nice payday . Beautiful to say the least .

never spotted any bobcat tracks this year,lots of lynx though. reguarding lynx,no one has been trapping them for quite a while in the areas i travel.
