Default Lots of gophers & wet snow

Just got back and I think the jeans weigh about 2 pounds more from all the water in the snow. Laying prone with bipod didn't always help because the snow in places is still too deep for the low setting (13 inch) on the harris. What a sloppy mess.
Good news is a few less gophers out there and the 22-250 is stil on the money for when things dry out a bit. tough slugging in deep wet snow for a few little critters, but it got me outside on a sunny day after the longest winter I can recall.
spring!
