I guess the title is correct, but it could have pretty much been a truck tire, or Moose going thru the windshield, or it could have said car kills bear.

Good thing they cancelled the spring bear hunt in ontario a few years back so people can hit them with their cars instead.

Isn't that the truth.... that was a bad couple of years back home, lots of resorts hurting because of it, and an huge increase of bears in the last 5 to 10 years

I'm sort of surprised the story focused on the two dead humans rather than the dead bear. But hang on. I think Michael Platt is writing a column on it for tomorrow's edition that will get the focus straight.

the exact same thing happened to a person driving infront of me last winter except it was a deer. i was flashing my headlights trying to warn the second driver but she ended up hitting the deer too.

very scarey but everyone turned out ok (except the deer)

Actually, it was a flying bear that killed the people, according to the news report I heard.
