Default Sensible solution for Elk in 8' ceilings?

I have three larger bulls, two euro'ed and one mounted, that I would like to tastefully put in a room with 8' ceilings. Does anyone have any good ideas?

Default ceiling solutions

You could possibly look into making one of your ceilings vaulted, not that big of deal to do if your handy.

Could possibly mount it over the stairs? Or move to a house with a better layout.

There have been some nice pedestal mounts posted.
This was my favorite.

I wish I had this issue and it's not from having a tall ceiling .

My euro.
Main beams are 53" for reference.
Over the stairs is a great idea, just didnt pass the wife test for me.

I have this one going down the stairs. Don't know if it would accommodate Amy larger of a bull tho. I have know idea where the full mount is going to go when sugar creek calls. I did get it with a hard turn and head tipped back bugling, so I hope it works in 8' ceilings.

The mounted bull is above the stairs and works well there and here are the other two in my work room. I would like to move them all to the main room in the basement without taking up too much space. It just might not be possible.

I had mine mounted with full turn and on a oak pedistal. Looks good and room to spare on a 8 ft ceiling.

That's an awful predicament to have chuck. I'd love to have that problem one day. Beauty Bulls. Glad you started this thread. Will watch it closely. Have one I'd like to do something with.

A glass table is nice and even functional. This is just off of the internet for example. I think I would get the glass cut in a shape that catches each point a little more artsy than just straight edges.

Would have never thought of that. Not a bad idea.

Wouldnt be too difficult to attach it to a floor pedestal similar to the one that Pinhead has. Then you can effectively tuck it into a corner.

Nice pics guys, nice bulls too. In my neighborhood there was a bungalow with a shoulder mount elk on the wall. Darn thing came so low it almost looked like it was sitting on the couch when you drove by and they had the curtain open.

If it wasnt already mounted you could have gone this route.
