Default Looking for some plumbing fittings

I'm wanting to reuse a faucet, but the new counter top is too thick. I need something like these.

I could get them from Moen, but they are:
a) out of stock and
b) wanting $56

Considering I could buy a new faucet for that, it seems a little crazy.

What is the counter made of? I frequently have to take a layer of particleboard out of cupboards for this reason. I've never in my career used extension shanks such as what you're showing, which would also explain their high price.

As a cabinet guy I always remove the back top cleat so the faucet gets tightened against the counter top.
Maybe a little harder now but its doable.

I tip my hat to you, many don’t.

Concrete, 1 1/2" thick. The old taps are only good up to 3/4". If they had wanted $20-25 for them, I would have grumbled about robbery but probably would have bought them. At $56, nope.

Not the problem in this case, strictly a problem with the thickness of the counter top.

Looks like plan A is a bust, time to start looking at plans B and C.
