Has anyone noticed this little trend?

Grizzly bears kill Blacks, wolves kill coyotes.

Then ...with the coyote population down, the rabbit and rodent populations will go up.

Coyotes aren't down at all in my main hunting spot. I'll be spending the winter trying to get about 30 of them off the prime sections of land in the area I hunt.

Coyote pop is still the same, however in the area your noticing obviously has wolves climbing, this is pretty typical, wolves run off coyotes pretty quick.

No, I think there are allot of yoties around. I bowhunt and let me tell you there everywhere.. This is in the zone and there are no wolves, well not allot of them so them taking out the yotes in another area may be true but not here..

Sure don't see a decrease in coyotes anywhere I hunt. All the zones I hunt seem to have an increased in all predator populations.

Noticing the same as you.... Even in my main zone, we got a small pack of wolves, that seem to enjoy killing Yotes. The Yotes population seems to still thriving and multiplying at a high rate.....

I watched the wolves hunt down a yote last year. When I went up to where they where, there were 3 dead Yotes out there.
