Default Late Season Waterfowling !?!

Is there any chance of late season goose /duck hunt now that just about everything is frozen ?? Thx.

Yes but you need to look for open water. Start at the river and if you dont see any work your way south. The trick is going to be looking at the open water.

Default late season wildfowling

Shot a full limit for two on Canada's a couple of days back.This is the time of year for the big Canadas.

The secret is to find open water where the birds rest between meals.Right now open waters is to be found on larger rivers and that open water is black with ducks and geese.

Spend time watching where the birds go to feed.Once located,get permission from landowner and if you get it you are in business.
