Default back tension release

Im looking at buying a new release. I am looking towards Scott due to the reviews I've seen on them. I am mainly looking at the wolf, the rhino xt and now the backspin series (which is a back tension release). I do not target shoot competitively, i only hunt. Anyone that has experience with a back tension or any opinions?

Default releases

I shoot 3-D and targets with a BT(hinge) release but am going to use a Carter wrist strap(trigger) release for hunting this year. A few people use BT releases for hunting but most do not. Also there is a slow learning curve with them and you can actually hurt yourself with them if you don't know what you are doing.
I would recommend a Tru-ball Short and sweet S-1 model, I used one for a couple of years before I switched to BT. I like the hook style releases better than the caliper type. Good luck, Cheers Roscoe

Look into the carter honey and honey-do

Both have safeties so you don't sccedently punch yourself
