Default Lunch Time tying lessons

It's been a while since I've done any "man crafts" so I dusted off the vise and headed down to Bow River Troutfitters yesterday for their Tuesday lunch time tying lessons... It was great with 4 of us getting a semi private lesson.

We tied the "Clouser Minnow". I finally learned the secret for not having my barbell eyes slip anymore! I guess the previous week they tied an "Intruder"! They provide all material and charge on a "per-fly basis", not bad for a lunch time activity to get me out of the office...

Bob would probably be unimpressed, but I'm quite proud since it's been a few years for me...

I had no idea they had lunch time lessons. That would be awesome. I checked the website, but they don't have the actual start time posted. I now work just outside of downtown, and they're a bit of a hike from me.

I think your minnows look great.

If you sign up for their newsletter, the Per Fly schedule is delivered there.

It is a great and relaxed class, it is nice way to learn some techniques and some flies that work for our waters.

I took in the Intruder class and the Galloup's Dungeon class

I've now signed up for the newsletter.

I also noted that they've moved again. It would be about a 20 minute walk for me (each way). That may not work very well.

I had a good chuckle at your "man crafts" comment as my wife calls my roll top tying desk my craft table as well. I always have to let he know it's my "tying desk"
