The original idea of PBR if I remember correctly, was based on the size of a deer's heart, which is roughly 6", so, max 3" above LOS at medium distance, ie 100-200, and wherever it dropped to below 3" from LOS, which is in the 250-280yd range, not 4 or 5 inches either way, which would require a hold low in closer. That would be contrary to the principle as it was designed to work, which is aim dead on, no hold under or over. 388yds seems to me to be pushin it a bit out of bounds.

yes, always used a 6" pbr for deer size game, and half that for coyotes

ELDX out of my T3 30.06 sure do group well.

I shot this 3 shot group a couple weeks back, at 200 yds.
