Default Sturgeon in SSR

Quick question - are sturgeon in the river all year, or is there only a limited window?

Is the river decent to fish all summer?

Thanks so much!!

no, they are in the river in summer, but go to florida for the winter......

ok, really....they are there year round but they move quite a bit depending on time of year. i assume you know the regs for the river.....6 odd week closure in spring and no sturgeon may be kept. if you have never caught one, be careful....the smaller ones have very sharp rows along the sides that will cut your hand up. i see you are from medicine hat....if you need some tips for the river, shoot me a pm.
